As if WA are chasing 340 on the last day how is that even “sporting”. You are just wanting a declaration so that it’s easier to win- how does it benefit WA? Has to be mutually beneficial to declare.
You said yourself the deck is a featherbed. 340 in 96 overs is 3.5 an over, hardly impossible to get

We all can switch off now it’s going to end in a boring draw, still don’t understand why Victoria declare early, the previous game must of influenced his decision, maybe if a front line bowling attack of Pattinson and Siddle in previous seasons, you may consider it

I actually didn't mind Handscomb declaring when he did. Just needed 2 captains to be thinking the same thing and obviously they haven't.

Never know Victoria might collapse NSW style.

Pressure? He came in at 6/272 on a featherbed...
Victoria probably would only lost 1 wicket if they weren’t chasing quick runs for a early declaration, only chance of being a result was turning into a one day game but that was never going to happen this early in the season

Handscomb had of declared at lunch, they may have got together and had a robust discussion on possibilities of early declarations
