So, does Alex Doolan bowl spin or? The rest have their bowling listed as mediums

Doolan used to keep at grade level so I don't think he really bowls anything, I suspect we'll rely on our pacers to take the 20 and use Wade and Silk for military mediums to rest the bowlers.

On another note, well deserved call up for Pyrcroft. Been the best bowler at grade level in Tassie for years now, faced him once when I was about 14 and lasted one ball :p

Milenko would be shattered to miss out on playing the Redbacks

How many overs do we have to bat?

Well, how's my maths?

Was two overs left. Stumps and we're 0/0. The first time we've gone wicketless in a mini post-stumps batting session (of any length) since the 1988-89 season.

Only 90 overs in Shield cricket now instead of 96?

Not sure how much longer we can keep picking Weatherald and Ferguson. Would either be averaging double figures this season?
Nothing derails a Redbacks' batsman's season better than talk of a test call up

Weatherald 20.13 He made 69 against Queensland.
Ferguson 10.86

Yes, it's depressing isn't it? Same old crap from Redbacks, year in, year out. Just when you think you may have a future Test batsman, or at least a regular run scorer, they turn to s**t.
