Would still be a great first innings total even if we had a full strength batting lineup. Not often 250+ first innings are scored on Gabba shield wicket let alone 300+. Vics well on track provided the forecast rain over the few days isn't too disruptive.

Not saying that Parker shouldn't have gotten a game, because he should have, but it's his first game. Give him a chance, he could make runs in the second dig

So there's currently 222 overs left in the game (RIP Richie, 6 overs into Victoria's second dig). Victoria lead by 162 runs. If Victoria go at the match's average RR over the first two innings (3.35) for 100 overs they will get ahead by 497 runs with 120 overs at Queensland, which is more than enough runs and probably enough time to attack them. Hell, if they went at 2.5 an over from here they'd get a lead of 412 which is probably enough.

EDIT: Weather forecast pretty dicey on Thursday afternoon/evening. Probably need to attack and try to get a big lead before tea tomorrow and then hope to roll them before the rain hits on Thursday.
