Crane is a promising leggie, but what's the go with him playing domestic cricket over here though? Not often you get an international in FC.


He's doing a stint in grade cricket. I don't think he would ever expected to be selected for Shield.

There's been quite a few of the recent under 19 English players playing in Perth grade cricket as well and doing well (the likes of Dan Lawrence, Aneurin Donald, Callum Taylor - all of which came through at the same time as Crane). No chance they'd get selected for WA though.

It is odd, but I do like it. Looks a fantastic talent and we've certainly benefited over the years from our younger guys being picked up by counties at an early point in their career. Honestly hope that it leads to a bit more of international player exchange in domestic cricket worldwide.
