Probably the right way to play against SA. We've really strangled teams with our pace attack. Batters go into their shell. Taking the attack to us here. Different dynamic rather than panicking about what the Duke ball might do.

It's a seriously flat pitch. Maddinson and Henriques brutalised the SA bowlers though. Sayers had an economy rate pushing 8 at one point.

Richardson looked cooked by the end of the day, to the point that I thought possibly carrying an injury.

I'm amazed Richardson has lasted this much of the season. Has historically been pretty fragile.

A little fightback from the Redbacks this morning. And confirmed that Somerville batting above Copeland but not really sure why. Somerville's highest FC score is 26 and Copeland has 1 FC century and 6 50s.
