For the first time this season. Credit to him, he won the game, but don't pretend his season prior to this was anything but poor.
He played the Bulls game at the G where it took over 1000 runs to take 18 wickets. The WA game at the G where nearly 1000 runs was required to take 23 wickets. The Tassie game at the G where he was good in the first innings. The SA game at G where he was again good in the first innings.

All draws on docile pitches. Yeah, maybe get off his back.

Faaaarrrkkkk Nevill is shyte. Glad he isn't playing for Aus anymore and can't believe NSW played him at 6 earlier in the year and played 5 bowlers.
We won the Shield with him at 6. He averages 38 with the bat, definitely can bat there. Just out of form this year.

I reckon the higher he bats the better he goes usually. He's not good batting with the tail, doesn't farm the strike well and can't hit out.

Once again, a game with a highest innings total of around 300ish (but even up to 350 is fine) makes for a great contest.

Have administrators forgotten how exciting a tumble of wickets is in a game?

Yep, how good was that match! Need a wicket with something there for batsmen and bowlers, enough of these roads!
