What did everyone think of the new Shirt Front magazine? A friend picked up a copy for me and I must say that I wasn't impressed. I think they even bagged us for only beating Fremantle by 22 points, but I'm not sure where they got that score when I think it was really 154 vs 68 (86 points).

Will anyone actually bother buying a copy from this week onwards?

Huh....where abouts in the magazine did they bag us for beating Freo by only 22 points? There was one mock up copy that (as far as I knew) wasn't released to the public and the first issue which came out last week and I can't remember the bagging of North in it.

Anyway, for all our complaints about a lack of empathy towards North in the general media, I can tell you that Shirt Front has at least three North Melbourne fanatics as regular contributors.

1. The newsagencies, I've seen them in there. The first issue is FREE.

2. E-mail shirtfront at vic@shirtfront.com.au

3. Click onto the Shirt Front logo up near the top of your bigfooty screen and download an Adobe Acrobat file that has the first issue (or so I'm told)

Any feedback on the magazine, whether good or bad, is appreciated as the people behind it want to make it the best footy magazine possible. Don't just say it's good or crap, tell us why.

The mention of us only beating Fremantle by 22 points was in the 'Horrorscopes' section of the first copy.

Don't get me wrong - I'm happy to have a new footy mag to read, but I didn't think the content was really as good as it might have been. I guess I'll try a couple more copies then make up my mind.

Ah yeah....found it last night....Horror Scopes was one of the things I didn't read because Horoscope p*sstakes usually aren't that funny......and the one in Shirt Front didn't do anything to prove that trend wrong.

Bought a copy of Issue #2 today - Seddon Newsagency has them stocked on the counter which is pretty good exposure.

Loved Shinners' reference in the Round 16 match preview to meeting the workmates on the Monday... that storeman chappie's a pest isn't he?

Too much happening on BigFooty today to give the magazine too much of a squiz over the last 3 hours since I bought it. Definitely get an in-depth look at it on the train/tram tomorrow on the way to........ UNI!!!!!!!!
