re: the link to the apology article. this just keeps getting more and more pathetic. firstly, that is the worst written article in the history of articles. theres absolutely no detail in that, other than "he apologised"... melbourne papers are officially shit, not that they havent been for a while.

secondly, i wish he didn't apologise (if he really did). why give these scumbags what they want for such a non-event?

about your work analogy... yeh, a corporate office photo and celebrations after a sporting win, not the same thing buddy. emotions run high.. let the boys have a bit of personality for **** sake.

^edit: ok they've added a bit more detail to that article. when i read it earlier, it was pretty much the first three paragraphs and that was it.

its a shame blair apologised. it really is.

no. we cant keep letting the media get away with this shit.. they dont represent us, yet theyve made it sound as if fans are in an uproar; and theyve forced blair to apologise for NOTHING.

Really disappointed the club made Blair apologise over this. It's the very definition of fabricated outrage.

Just a little bit of fun that's been blown way out of proportion. I'm bewildered by the media reaction and the reaction of some of the public, but it seems the general populace took it with a grain of salt. Such a non issue and thankfully one that will pass us by soon enough.
 
But I can handle it, I tried to make you understand why, in the global and general sense, this "shocker" is the biggest non-issue we have possibly ever seen in football.

I am hardly "carrying-on", this is my third post in this thread and you have probably exceeded 15.

it really makes my blood boil that useless ***** are making so much money by "bringing to the publics attention" these sort of "issues"... this is so so bullshit.

blair shouldn't have apologised... he should've come out and said "i actually didn't know what that meant, but now i do" or something like that.

i'd never heard of this hand gesture until before tonight.... so suck that you stupid git mitchell and you idiot women's groups who try to turn these things into such a big deal because there are now countless more people out there who know about this hand gesture who previously didn't.

i really hope collingwood fans band together and make "the shocker" the new official collingwood fan squad hand gesture after goals and match wins... it'd really ****ing stick it up those stupid *****.
