Squiggle tips Saints at 51% chance -- What's your tip? -- Team line-ups »
You joke but I've genuinely met people who thought hawthorn was in tasmaniaHawks and North- Tassie
Do those states have a venue that can hold up to 100,000 people?
Why do you think? Why does it matter when only 30,000 club fans can go?

Should they now?Shouldn't the fans have a greater say and the benefits to the state over a MCG GF.
If they want the G then go for it but they should be given the option
No! You're lying! You're lying! You joke but I've genuinely met people who thought hawthorn was in tasmania
Noooo!
I want the GF to stay at the MCG in perpetuity, I live in Brisbane and if the Lions make it again before I depart this mortal coil I want the excitement and tradition of a trip away to Melbourne for the GF, hopefully it ends better than my last one in 2004.
hopefully it ends better than my last one in 2004.
I think we are timing our run to perfection for another 3peat 20 years on.Poor thing only winning 3 in a row.
Terrific idea IMOI think WA and SA would want their own GF
So when are you going back to South Melbourne?Hawks and North- Tassie
And return Victoria to the bankruptcy of the 1980s that will eventually lead to folding the minnow clubs so a more balanced national competiton can emerge in 10 years?Terrific idea IMO
What WA and SA should do is set up their own state-based competitions where clubs play for premiership points, then take part in a final playoff (grand final) exclusively comprising clubs from WA or SA respectively
To the powers that be: make it happen!
So when are you going back to South Melbourne?
What, too subtle? And return Victoria to the bankruptcy of the 1980s that will eventually lead to folding the minnow clubs so a more balanced national competiton can emerge in 10 years?
Win / win mate!
Ps. Your club ONLY exists because the national competiton props them up... not because of any market forces. Show some grace.
How many corporates and AFL members are getting into a 60,000 seat stadium? Are you silly enough to believe the AFL would allow 40,000 of these high paying members to miss out?Why does it matter when only 30,000 club fans can go?
