What would have been the scenario if Biglands had NOT been injured in the Prelim final BUT injured his knee in the 2007 pre-season comp?

Clarke most probably would have announced his retirement at the end of the 2006 season and therefore we would have been left with only Hudson, Meesen, Maric and maybe Griffin for the 2007 season!

As well as Clarke has played this year, I am not sure whether he could get himself up for another year!

If Clarke is retained, I'd like it to be that it is purely on an as needs basis, plus playing games here and there to keep his hand in just in case he is needed.
