    Your views are a matter for you. I'd suggest it would be better to just accept it isn't going to happen though. It will just be frustrating otherwise.

    That sounds about right. Money to motivate these kids might be the answer. Most of them are Mummy's boys who can't be away from their Mother's too long, but at least if they are paid more based on draft position, that we can rely on their family to talk some sense into them, tell them to stick it out till their contract is up. You'll get the odd Mummy's boy like Tom Boyd who will be offered an insane contract, but in all that is very uncommon.

    You're 100% correct. The NRL system of complete free agency and strictly enforced salary cap creates the most even competition in the world. No team going back-to-back in the NRL era and every team making the prelim in the last decade is an endorsement of that system

    All clubs first round picks. For their initial contract. Just a little insurity. Not a popular opinion though.
