considering how shitful Geelong were on Saturday night it was a very disappointing how we finnised off the game after half time..in fact if you look at scores after half time Geelong outscored us..a good side would have buried the trash that we played on Sat night.

I know its a bit rough to be baggin after a 10 goal win but the calibre of opposition was terrible..and in the end even made us look bad for unforced errors

credit where its due..jonathan brown and akker did very well

I think Leppitsch and Keating will push for selection this week. L.Power might be an omission, although C.Scott is reported to have pulled up ok.

I'm not sure if Matthews will include both Leppitsch and Keating. Certainly they are both stars, and walk-up starts to the team (and both have played great footy against the swans), but considering the small, fast nature of Sydney's team, it might pay to play an extra small player - who knows??

Yeah I think we should have. We were playing like a good team in the first half, then it slipped away from us. If we were playing a good team, we could have lost the match.

More evidence of the still dysfunctional Lions. Really good teams concentrate & keep to the team plan for 4 1/4's. I am hopeful that they can work on this, as it was the best 1/2 of footy thay have played this year (IMO)

IMO the 2nd 1/2 fade can be attributed to terrible attack on goal.

Geelong recovered & started to resemble an AFL team, but mostly it was the Lions own undoing.

All the flair, skill & patience to set up goals in the 1st 1/2 was swept aside in a mania for getting to 50 & kicking high bombs wildly into the square where either there were no Lions players or the defenders all had time for a cuppa before getting themselves into position to spoil.

When the defenders are rebounding the ball & the midfielders are putting themselves under pack to ensure it gets forward, it sure makes a dent in your efforts when it comes back just as quickly. It that point the effort of the whole team started to go downhill.
