Depends on your fanaticism and finances I suppose Spook.

I suppose if it's a win from what you're implying, that'd make it worthwhile. A loss.. hhmmm.

Can't see to many bigger games for us for the year and reckon we'll put on a good showing. But not totally convinced we'll win it though.

When was the last time you saw them over here? And when's the next chance you might get to see them over here? Ticket costs might be cheap now but with fuel prices the way they're heading, that might not last?

Weigh it all up mate, it's a big under-taking from Perth but you've got my admiration if you do it.

I was over last year watched us beat Melbourne at the G (saw us beat Freo the week before/after) so a good couple of weeks.

I will be over in August as well with my wife.

Its also about footy at the G and not just seeing the Hawks.

Footy over here sucks...There are bugger all seats on the wings (resticted by Roberts road) and it it a 1 sided crowd which kills the atmosphere.

I am thinking seriously about it about $600 for flights....finacnes not a problem (dual income no kids) so got to take advantage while I can.

Where is the best place to sit

Do you have an inter-state membership? Not sure if that would entitle you to the Hawks membership seating in the new stands or not? Someone else might know for certain.

I haven't sat though in years, stand in M10, not the best view but terrific atmosphere. So have to wait for someone else to give you best advice on that side of it, sorry.

Even more impressed!

I'm sure you'll find some place suitable to watch the game and hope that it's also a decent flight over.. but a great flight back. ;)
I dont think I'll do it...Just rang my brothers to see if they were keen and they cant go it so we are watching at my place together.

Will be over in 28 July v Collingwood at the G and hopefully August or even better maybe Sept instead.

I may still get over it 2 days away. If my Amateurs club can pull off 5 wins I'll go.

Grendel,
Do you stand up the back at M10 near the bar area?

What a great win, when the rain came and we gave those pricks
a gift goal I thought this will be our worse loss for the season,
but in turned out to maybe be our best :thumbsu:

I agree with Hawkk, one of the best wins in 10 years, even my mate
that doesnt get too excited actually sang the song after the game

:D

I would definately get your hands on a time machine and get down here for last Sunday's game.
Just don't touch or say anything to anyone... you may alter the course of history!
