He doesnt want to be seen as backing a loser it diminishes his power. The fact he's even requesting to meet with Shorten means ALP are a certainty this election.
He doesnt want to be seen as backing a loser it diminishes his power.
This will hopefully be the first government that didnt have to kiss his ring.
and with his 3 years tops comment I hope its all out RC war on this prick from early on
In one of the early Flashman books, he's in a shooting party with Prince Edward, and including Bismarck and his son. Someone accidentally lets one fly a bit close to Otto Senior.Lol Murdoch is a ******* sociopath. Did everyone see all the s**t he was writing about Shorten and Labor over the years? Then he asks for a meeting with him LOL. Absolute filth. The sooner he dies the better. The fact he's even requesting to meet with Shorten means ALP are a certainty this election.
What are the odds atm? May as well put $1000 on it, could still win me $10
Trouble is - lachlan in even deeper down the rabbit hole.Lol Murdoch is a ******* sociopath. Did everyone see all the s**t he was writing about Shorten and Labor over the years? Rupert used to have a stature of Marx on his desk at uni and Lachlan quit at one stage saying no one needed more than $150g because they could never spend it.Ah yeah that's a shame. I heard the next son is actually a liberal or something. It's a shame Lachlan had to be born otherwise it would've went to that James one

I’ve had my issues with Clem Ford but this excellent article shows that the management of Fairfax are bucking the trend and becoming MORE afraid of Murdoch.
For the guy who prided himself on being Howard lite, he's sure got a lot to say now.Kevins giving his 2 cents worth in an election year
Its good to see
Kevin Rudd: 'chic left' needs to realise we are at war with radical right
Exclusive: in a new essay, Rudd renews call for a big Australia and lambasts the Murdoch press and elements of the left for attacking progressives
In relation to the influence of Murdoch, Rudd declares Labor needs to understand it is in a “war” with News Corporation.
“We should be loud and proud and declare open warfare on Murdoch and all that he stands for through all the alternative media at our collective disposal.
“In fact, we are wimps if we don’t.
The truth is Murdoch seeks to destroy our reputation as a party, as a movement and as a body of progressive ideas. We are perfectly entitled, based on the facts alone, to go on the attack.
We are in a war against Murdoch.”

Hes a fair bit of a coc|<head but hes 100% right about this - its a war and they had better take it seriously and fight like it is one.For the guy who prided himself on being Howard lite, he's sure got a lot to say now.
True, but article says it was happening well before the takeover. The nein takeover is all you need to know
Yeah good on him.Kevins giving his 2 cents worth in an election year

Just as a matter of interest, what were the 3 letters?Front page of news.com.au has:
'You don't want these 3 letters on your boarding pass'
'$6 buttery croissant causes uproar'
'Champ's bombshell stuns tennis world' (Naomi Osaka is getting a new coach)
So that's a clear yes.
Just as a matter of interest, what were the 3 letters?
What about the publications with much larger viewership eg Herald Sun and The Australian?Do you mean this story:
https://www.news.com.au/technology/...n/news-story/503e6905af50be712bc4a1519bcadbd9
which is one the the five featured articles in science and technology conincidentally on the front home page.
This is incredibly ironic.Just saw a new global scientific study, that shows alarming and potentially catastrophic consequences , hardly given a mention in the Murdoch papers.Front page has 4 articles on Labor, one on the Greens and it's mostly a fear campaign in border security. The Daily Mail was recentlty taken off the reliable news source list by wikipedia. Is it time for the rest of the science denying papers to be added to the list? Four out if five climate change articles in The Australian recomnend no reduction in carbon emmissions. The Herald Sun is similar.Should we cop this from our newspapers and what can be done about it?
