Should State Of Origin be played on Easter Weekend

Not in favour of state of origin until NSW or Qld can be involved as serious contenders.

That should be another 10 years until it is viable in qld. NSW a long way off. A state of origin involving

QLD
VIC
SA
would be good.

The first step is the under 18's .Qld. should play off for a first division spot against the worst performing 1st division team... which i think was SA this year.

Obviously Easter falls on different weekend's every year, but generally it would happen too early in the season. Take this year for instance, we would have a round of football, before playing origin, and then playing round 2 next week. It would be too disjointed.

IMO if you wanted to play origin mid-season, you should do it like league and wait until the season is well established, where people could do with the break, ie. what is now the split round weekend

they should play footy on good friday, a game in the afternoon, this is boring....
