Should the a.f.l have gone national

I think it was a good idea but what does everyone else think

At the time I hated the concept, but 12 years later I believe it was probably the best thing the AFL has done. I know it has saved my club, and many others from folding.

The VFL went national, and later became the AFL.

Yeah. 'twas a good idea, I guess.

Going national was the only way for the VFL to become the AFL, and get the big money from the TV networks. That money has been the saviour for more than 1 existing club.
