How about the teams that make up the top 8 get a special AFL coin congratulating them for making the finals.

And so the bottom 8 teams don't feel left out, they should be awarded certificates saying better luck for next year

What if a team gets 22 zip in the season gets to the GF and on the way to the MCG the team coach crashes and they all have broken legs. So they call up the reserves and colts and get thrashed. Shouldn't they have just a postage size flag for the minor premiership?

that is a link to what I do believe may have been Dan 24's first statements on this topic from 23rd Jan 2000. Strange how some things never change. 12 months on and we still argue over the same things.
