The NBA has a rich history of players wearing 00, and it is still permitted today (though a team cannot have a player wearing 0 and another wearing 00 at the same time).

• Robert Parish: Known as "The Chief," the Hall of Fame center is the most iconic player to wear the number, winning three championships with the Boston Celtics and one with the Chicago Bulls while donning 00.

• Aaron Gordon: Wore 00 during his high-flying years with the Orlando Magic.

• Jordan Clarkson: Wore 00 for the Utah Jazz, including during his 2020–21 Sixth Man of the Year winning season.

• Carmelo Anthony: Wore 00 toward the end of his career during his stint with the Portland Trail Blazers.

American Football (NFL)

In the NFL, the number 00 is now completely banned.

How about a special "Roman Empire" themed round?
Jezza Cameron running around in "V"
Nick Daicos sporting the famous XXXV
etc.

I could get behind that.
Aside from the roads, sanitation, law and order, wine, and numbers too long to fit on football jumpers, what have the Romans ever done for us?
