No you haven't, and you know you can get away with saying that because you hide your comment history. This thread is about changing our name, not about how to fix indigenous issues. I have made multiple comments about how indigenous issues need to be tackled in more appropriate threads so you’re wrong about that.
That should take about 3 seconds to remedy if they aren’t moronsIf u think a casual fan know who Euro-Yroke are you are very naive. If you think having casual fans not being able to identify which teams are playing isn’t a bad idea you’re also very naive.

Kap, we are all learning here. You should work in marketing, you have such a sharp understanding.
I literally discussed indigenous domestic violence issues 2 days ago, wrong again. You're trying to start the argument in this thread because you know mods will remove it all. Grandstanding at it's finest
What the point the point of changing your name if your just gonna change it back 2 weeks later?Indigenous round.
Use our indigenous name.
RESPECT our brothers.
Go back to Collingwood after the round has been completed. How ****ing hard is that?
Is your suggestion for improving the game to bend over backwards for people who don’t even have a casual interest in it? Sounds great! You should work in marketing, you have such a sharp understanding.
Let’s be honest, most Sydney supporters are theatre goers who only have a vague understanding of the basic rules of the game.Is your suggestion for improving the game to bend over backwards for people who don’t even have a casual interest in it? Sounds great!
ok then, all opinions on the table. that's just mine. What the point the point of changing your name if your just gonna change it back 2 weeks later?
Seems more patronising than respectful to me.
Another great point. I’d like to see an indigenous jersey incorporated more throughout the season.ok then, all opinions on the table. that's just mine.
why do we wear the indigenous jumpers and just change them back 2 weeks later?

I feel the complete opposite.I don't feel that. I feel having both names for two weeks would be a powerful statement of unity.

Life is about learning and what a fantastic way to learn. If having clubs being recognizable to casual fans is "bending over backwards" then yea... sure.
There's a reason no other brand or corporation on earth changes their name temporarily like this, it's dumb and drives people away. When people look at the screen and don't immediately understand what's happening and who's playing they swap channel, it's basic marketting.
Even reading articles about the game where they use both teams indigenous name is confusing unless you've followed the name changes from the beginning
This is so incredibly unconvincing, come on. Do betterIf having clubs being recognizable to casual fans is "bending over backwards" then yea... sure.

It’s patronising to Aboriginal people.I respectfully ask what it is that makes you feel it is not a powerful statement to show unity for Aboriginal people. Who is it patronising to?
The poster you're replying to doesn't seem to find it patronising. It’s patronising to Aboriginal people.
If you want to make a statement do it for every week not just two.
This is so incredibly unconvincing, come on. Do better
I doThe poster you're replying to doesn't seem to find it patronising.
So because other clubs in countries with completely different histories don't do a thing, neither should we? Is that your argument?Name 1 brand or coorporation that changes their name for a special cause, any cause, any cooproation, on earth.
If virtually not a single one does, out of millions of companies, apart from AFL clubs on indigenous round, have you ever thought... hmmm... why could that be? Just think for a second.
Do you like Barcelona, Miami Heat or Liverpool would change their names for 2 weeks of the season? If not, why?
Nonetheless your absolute claim is immediately proven to at best be contested by some Aboriginal people.I do
