As an opposition supporter it is pathetic the way in which some of you are attacking Weaver. To say he shouldn't give an opinion because he is a mod is laughable. If you followed that criteria then there would be no mods on BF. He provides an educated view on all aspects of the game and it is disappointing to see some of you attack someone who has more credibility than any of you.

he hasnt banned me(yet) and as far as im concerned his mod role is one thing he is doing ok

If this thread wasn't so pathetic, it would be mildly humourous.
From my standing in my limited time here on BF, I would say that Weaver has seen Coburg Tigers and more under-age footy than all the knobheads on here put together.
It's easy to criticise isn't it? The unintelligent ones always have to resort to digging the heels in, because they are unable to construct a decent argument themselves.

Probably a bit of jealousy there I'd say.
Weaver obviously sees alot of Coburg / under-age games so people ask him alot of questions. This seems to annoy some people who are upset that people aren't asking them questions . Maybe because they're idiots.

Secondly I suppose his reaction to the Riewoldt decison could have been more moderate if you pardon the pun, but it was obviously how he felt . Let he cast the first stone.....
At least he had explained why he didn't want him in the weeks running up to the draft.

Could not agree more. Amazed at the reaction to the one bloke who actually knows what he is talking about, expressing his opinion.

Weaver I for whatever reason can't see how you having an opinion on these boards would be the subject of such scrutiny.

Beside Weaver is in a win win situation here as only one of three things can happen.

1. Reiwoldt is not up to it - Therefor Weaver can hit us all with the I told you so routine.

2. Reiwoldt is a good handy player - Weaver can still lay claims that although he is a solid footballer he was not worthy of pick 13.

3. (This is the one I'm hoping for) Reiwoldt turns out to be a gun - in that case Weaver cops a few threads and posts on how he is wrong but takes it in his stride as he sits back in the comfort knowing the AFL club he follows has a gun forward playing for them.

By the way Weaver I for one enjoy reading most of what you have to say. Keep up the good work.

i think the reason that every-one seems to be upset at him is because he doesn't approve that we took Riewoldt at 13....

im fine with it as we got the player i wanted anyway but i think thats the reason he's got alot of people upset.
