Should Winners Get Ring, Medal or Other

Many prestigious world competitions are giving out premiership rings which can be worn anywhere.. should AFL do likewise

Pretty sure the players get something (be it a ring or watch or something similar) that is wearable.
But you get a medal on the day. If someone cares that you’re a premiership player, they don’t need a ring to remind them.

It's the sort of thing you could order for local sports as well.
