Nothing to do with form. I am thinking tactical nous, player development and motivational abilities. Interested to hear what every group of fans has to say about their future under their current coach.

When is the use by date? It will be interesting to see if voting is based purely on form this season or whether there are dissenters in every clubs ranks who can see something most of us can't.

Pagan not good enough for you?

Or just bored?

Can mods get warned for trolling?

Fact is, Whoosha's just fine. Going along well, and has the full support of basically everyone with any connection to the club. I can't see him going anywhere for awhile.

Mental note to self. Eagles fans can't read, comprehend and do not know what a troll is.

Chill folks, merely getting an idea how many fans are happy with their lot in life coach wise, whether lower placed teams are still happy to stick with what they have and whether higher placed teams have some fans prepared to go against the grain and have another opinion.

Personally I think Woosha is doing a fantastic job and if you all agree and think he is the man, then he will get 100% backing and show that you are all united ... get the point? Or maybe not. Maybe I should have just left you guys out but I didn't want to be rude.

Oh yes, a moderator trying to get himself banned ... makes a lot of sense. Even trolled my own board.

If we were 0-6 and the players didn't respect him as coach, then yes this thread would be good to discuss if Worsfold had a future at the club.

But sitting nicely in 2nd spot and being so close to the number 1 spot since 1999, I don't know any Eagle fan that would be unhappy with our choice of coach - unless they were huge Neil Craig fans.

Fair enough. It'd just make more sense to start an over-reaching thread on the AFL board wouldn't it? "Are you happy with your coaches progress?" You've been here long enough to know that threads posted identically on each board don't generally go down too well ;)

And like you said, the question isn't really relevant to us. But carry on :)

Point taken Go Eagles but it is all relative, Woosha is relatively new, making all the right moves whereas a couple of other clubs may be successful but feeling that ideas are a little stale. This was inspired by listening to something about Sheed's and his style being a little stale (It was a tongue in cheek thing on White Line Fever) and the realisation that not everybody is happy with their coach and form might not be the only consideration. To get an accurate comparison I thought 16 teams was appropriate.

Sorry to all, simpy delete the thread, let it disappear or ban me from the Eagles board as suggested. I'll have no need to return by the looks of it.

Beside the reaction on the Hawks board was far more colourful than this one. Most though have been happy to take the opportunity to talk up their coach, not an entire waste while ticking over your boards really.

Cheers

You are right of course but I did it this way because I didn't want opposition supporters corrupting the vote and that is less likely to happen on your own board.

I guess I am finding out that some sensitivity exists here and there.

Truly I come in peace.

while he is not the most tactical in the league he is one of the top motivators. Worsfold has installed a hardness and confidence in the team that hasn't been there since, well since he left.

last year he did a few things tactically that i questioned but he seems to have got that sorted out. Hey he's got the team at 5-2 he's got to be doing something right.

You come in peace - we welcome you with open arms. Apologies for any earlier hostile tension on earlier posts - dispite all the hype we are a one eyed but friendly bunch :)

All things considered this looks tame compared to the Hawks thread!

I've already began work on a petition to get Woosha sacked if he doesn't start playing Big Quinten in the senior side soon.

I doubt you'll find any true Eagle fans that aren't absolutely thrilled with what Woosh is doing down at the club. It should be good to count how many Docker supporter vote 'no' though.

Cheers for giving him an apprenticeship, btw.

I'm very happy with the our coaching group.

Sumich, Micale and Wiley seem to be the specialist/tactical coaches, while Woosha is the great leader of men, that is able to inspire and instill the belief into the guys.

Not sure how people misinterpreted ODN's thread?? Seemed pretty clear cut to me, a good question about football, not a troll at all...must have gone over some people's heads or they just dont know ODN.

On the topic....Whoosha is doing a fantastic job and I am ecstatic that he is our coach.

In Whoosha I Trust!

Worsfold appears to have the respect of the player group, he got them running through walls from day one. He's one bloke who could ask anything of a player - on the field and on the track - because of his own work ethic. As a result, fringe players have taken serious steps forward since he arrived. Also, he has surrounded himself with people with tactical and strategic nous.

I think that one of the reasons for getting Woosha was that Eagles supporters would cut him more slack than just about any other coach, given that it would take a couple of seasons to rebuild the side. To our delight, he's gotten results almost instantly.

He's definitely the bloke to take us forward.

I think he'll be a long term coach. He is one of our favourite sons and at the moment he seems to be doing VERY well. I can see him winning a few premierships with us and then retiring to the bush where he'll coach a bush team and own/run the local pharmacy. But that wont happen for another 10-12 years. He'll be with us for awhile yet!

fair enough question.

Woosha will lead us to glory. When ? who knows.

The only thing that worries me is the day he leaves - even if he stays for 10 years. it wont be enough

Yes, he is immortal. :)

Woosha has a very long future with the club. Players, supporters, members and sponsers are very happy with the man. The way he played is an indication of what he has brought to the club as a coach especially after the negative era under Judge. Woosha is the type of guy who has given the club respect.

I know the man played more for the jumper than anything else and that's what makes him a great man and a shining example to the club.

To me, he is bigger than Malthouse. Woosha IS West Coast.
