I don't want to win in a nail-biter at the last minute, I want to win by 10 goals in an embarrassing showdown for them.

If we are 3 goals up at qtr time it will get ugly

He will gently ask if his ticket is good as it is (by presenting it at the turnstile). If the Crows accept it, everything is fine. Otherwise, if the ticket is deemed improprer, he simply goes back and upgrades the ticket.

I don't understand why a question would harm anyone's integrity. In both cases, he does the right thing.



For Motlop, it was AS IF the goal was wide open. Other players might not feel the same way...

The cost of an adult is greater than that of a child - unless the individual is a indeed a child an attempt to enter on a childs ticket is an attempt to deceive and gain a benefit for which one is not entitled. An erroneous acceptance of the ticket doesn't negate the attempt nor the premise. Therefore integrity is damaged.

Still, it may be erroneous or not. What if the official policy is to allow any ticket to grant access or to leave up to the clerks to decide considering the circumstances of the day? The amount of Junior tickets used by seniors may be so small, that the stadium currently may accept the exceptions — because it means more people inside (and probably consuming more as well). They could simply avoid making it public because it would no longer be exception. Those things happen.

One can only know that by presenting the ticket at the turnstile. Most probably, this will happen:

— Sir, it is a Junior ticket.
— I know. Is there a problem?
— Of course, there is a problem! It is for kids!
— Sorry. I was told I could come and present it. Is there anything I might do to fix it?
— You must go to any ticket booth and pay a difference to upgrade it.
— Ok. Thanks.
