The AFL controls our club, and they absolutely 100% want Clarkson coaching Gold Coast. The only thing to stop it would be Dew winning a flag.
They got screwed over with Franklin because they didn't have control over Sydney, but they do have complete control over Clarkson's future here.

I am not a big fan of Marshall but thought he was fantastic tonight. Kicked straight which he doesn't always do but was really impressed with his tackling and second efforts. Hopefully the penny has finally dropped with him because he does have talent.
He needs more of his team mates to go with him though.

Save the angst people, no point attacking each other or bagging greats of the club, the focus should be on the non playing leadership and their coaching appointments. We have seen this coming for a while, unfortunately they havent.

Frederick as a small has huge potential. Maybe the most potential of any small at the club.

McKenzie took 2 real courageous marks in the last when it really counted. Ragged earlier in the game, but recovered a fair bit.

Boak only made one bad mistake IMO. Unfortunately it was fatal.

If Marshall can do that next week then he's going to turn his Titanic career around. Way more aggressive tonight.
