Going to be honest, the last 10 minutes or so was a bit worrying. Port seemed to be cracking straight through the Crows defense with impunity, with more than enough shots on goal to win the game if they'd been accurate. I couldn't consider the game in the bag until maybe 3 minutes to go.
I thought you were an intelligent fish? We were never, ever, ever not going to lose that by less than five goals.

Pretty sad that a select few people can control who runs this club when majority of supporters want change and something different? why do we put up with this s**t.
It’s been so bloody obvious what’s needs to happen for so long yet here we are.
We’re actually no closer to sorting this mess out than we were two years ago.

I was at the game and you can tell both supporter bases are broken and expect them to lose at any point.

We've had way more years of it though, you're still small fries when it comes to watching your team lose the unloseable

Another 150 minutes and we would of had you COLD. DEAD TO RIGHTS.

Ken Hinkley: “I made a mistake playing Connor Rozee tonight. I’m not a coward when it comes to owning a mistake and that is what it was.”

Yes you are Ken. A coward is exactly what you are. But you'll just keep trying to hang on til the bitter end, instead of manning up and walking. Coward.

Never fear, Ken Hinkley is here. #hinkleyball

By then it would have been 7.38 with Boak kicking 7 consecutive behinds.

Tell me you’re a coward by telling me you’re not a coward

Didn't the Magpies also lose by 40 points in more or less the same way? Can't wait for the AFLW season to see if our legendary consistency and stability has infected that program too.

Bloody hope not. Our girls team are currently the only attachment I have to the club that I knew and loved.

Thing is keeping Ken is pointless. We aren’t closing any gap this year and no guarantees next year (but I have a guess).

He should be Sacked by 9am.

He should have been sacked straight after the Collingwood game

This is spot on.

Sitting there in the first quarter knowing we were cooked. Their style to choke and counter was always winning from there without some change and we didn't do anything.

Can't go out there, play an amazing first quarter and be a couple goals down at the end of it. Just disgusting coaching and team defence structure and it got what it deserved.

That’s the thing. Loss felt inevitable after the 2 early goals to Fogarty. Like, oh, here we go. Buckle up and settle in, it’s one of those Showdowns.

If the shoe was on the other foot, an early 4-5 goal lead wouldn’t have felt safe.

Pure Hinkley Port.

This was your post yesterday in the pregame and changes thread

Butts - 198cm (6'5)
Curtin - 197cm (6'5)
Worrell - 195cm (6'4)
Keane - 194cm (6'4)
Michalanney - 190cm (6'2)
Smith - 189cm (6'2)

vs

Dixon - 200cm (6'6)
Marshall - 198cm (6'5)
Georgiades - 192cm (6'3)
Byrne-Jones - 181cm (5'11)
McEntee - 176cm (5'8)
Rioli - 175cm (5'8)

But according to Adelaide fans they've finally got the balance right? Weird.

So
yesterday you're implying the crows have gone in too tall in defence. But now we've gone in too short.
I mean it's not like we all saw this result regardless of selections. Guarantee you that Finlayson puts up a similar impact to Marshall if he plays tonight.
You've taken two things I've said and run completely the opposite way with them.

First of all, go back to the first post I made in the changes thread instead of cherry picking the last one. I specifically said I would play Finlayson in this game because Adelaide's worst loss of the season came to a forward line that had three talls (Treacy, Amiss and Taberner) + a 190cm forward in Banfield.

I mentioned the height of Adelaide's defence because I was under the impression that the only reason we were playing McEntee over Finlayson was because we were going to play a chaos ball style of game to exploit the height that Adelaide was bringing in. I never in my wildest dreams expected us to run with exactly the same game style when we saw them go in that tall.

You either exploit the agility of their talls with your small forwards (as we finally started to do when we played Horne-Francis) OR you play an extra tall so their tall can't screen off and they are forced to defend, which allows your small forwards to get to work. We did neither until it was too late.
