Club doesn’t care.

They’ve normalised these types of performances. The Koch regime has carefully gaslighted their own supporter base into accepting these losses over the years.

Kenny rolls up Monday and it’s rinse and repeat.
Right on the money, too many supporters have been `gaslighted' into accepting these p*ss weak losses for way too many years now, and nothing changes but the date on the calendar or as you suggest `it's (just) rinse and repeat.'

As a comparison between what we were and what we've become, I can remember being told many years ago by a bloke whose father played in a Maggie's premiership in the 1950's that Fos and Bob McLean could inspire players just by their presence in the change rooms, and before either had even spoken a word.

By comparison to genuine football icons like them, and many others (eg John Cahill) HTF the club ended up with limp wristed clowns like Koch, Hinkley and Richardson simply defies belief.

I haven't spent a cent at the club since 2020, and it will remain that way until all of kokhead and his pathetic cronies are gone!

You are correct. The players could not have made eye contact after a performance like that. Hell, there would be no performance like that because it would not be tolerated, unlike now where it's just another smashing, let's just continue to be the best person we can.

They would also have to come back to the club rooms afterwards and face the wrath of the members. That is how our culture was built only for it to be pissed away by a conman and corporate grifter.

Last night was the ultimate "Up yours" from the Club to all of its sponsors, members and fans. We Were Port Adelaide indeed.

The AFL chips in with the most biased officiating you'll ever see, Ricciuto is allowed to gloat over the ashes and the media tells us of Kenny's heartbreak.

Go to **** the lot of you.

Kenny rolls up Monday and it’s rinse and repeat.

Their sole aims are:

1) Make money spitting out retro gear at the port store week after week.

2) Making sure everyone in the media defends Ken to the death. Carefully narrating it isn’t his fault, the fans are in the wrong and dancing in circles to blame the ‘cattle’ Ken has when they need to present that argument.

We see the same shit every single week. No care for the fans, no acknowledgement, no accountability!

We actually have fans pushing for change probably more than any other club in history has and it still means jackshit. The board and club doesn’t listen. They’d rather make sure the media gaslights us into accepting mediocrity and pushing a narrative that we are crazy and should shut up and be happy supporting an embarrassing club.

Like Clarko said, we know where we are. This result shows that we're no better than North and a smidge better than West Coast. The sides fighting it out for the top 8 are well and truly ahead of us. I put the blame squarely at the feet of Koch and his entire staff, including the coaches and players.

Get the big broom out and clear out everyone and everything that isn't bolted down or rusted on.

After last night, you wouldn’t trust Bergman to piss on a urinal in the right direction. You might give a free pass to a hung over C Grade stoner, but it’s unforgivable at this level.

The vision coming out of both coaches boxes told an accurate tale of what was not only unfolding on the field last night, but for the majority of the past 13 years. Nicks, appeared steely faced, serious, & in total control, while Ken looked like a 20 year old virgin about to embark on his first date.

You would think the club would arguably be in a better position without Ken, but as long as Koch & his merry group of sycophants remain, I’m expecting business to carry on as normal.
He was scared shitless.

Its the constant lack of preparation for big games. Its gone on for 13 years.

What do you expect when in the lead up your coach talks about hoping we dont lose because he'll be afraid to drive during the day. A fish rots from the head.

Everything about this game screamed unprepared and mentally weak.

I told my family beforehand that Kens comments were a worry in the lead up presser, talking about how the players don't like showdowns because of the heat!

First kick the wrong way gets laughed at, but there's more to that, more that's indicative of the mental state of the side. Unprepared, confused, checked out!

Second to the ball all night, roll over in the second half, the same guy that only a couple weeks before was putting lolly teeth in his mouth for the cameras whilst our season was slipping away looked on with zero answers or emotion.

The Crows were always going to win, with a near full strength side and the umps giving them kisses and cuddles, but that margin is as much on us tonight, 100 points in the wet is unforgivable, that is an effort result. We had none, and who's surprised, we're playing scared and mimicking lolly teeth guy.

We are not a serious football club at all!

The media are not serious about us with the constant layup questions to Ken, the club are not serious with the constant deflections and distractions, our opposition are not serious when we turn up to play because if players like Bergman aren't telling their opp numbers they're crook, Kens having a giggle with them all after the game.

We have so so many issues and they are practically all between the ears.
Post of the year!
Could not put it any more definitively.

Hinkleys coaching and game plans been well below average since Richardson left him. Ruined a few careers. Yesterday the intent from outer guys was deplorable. And the willingness to just run the ball over the boundary pissed me off if we had a dominant midfield that excellent at the clearance you'd be ok with it but we don't

Twelve years ago Ken kept repeating, 'you get what you deserve'. Strangely I have not heard that expression from Ken's lips for some time now but it is just as appropriate in 2025 as it was back in 2013.

Last night's result was about on a par with a 119 point loss in a Grand Final.

Surely it is time for Koch and Co to tell Hinkley to leave and take the likes of Hartlett and Stuart Graham with him? I guess we are in a catch 22 situation as the people who should be telling Ken to leave early should also be leaving. The most unsuccessful Chairman in the Club's history should tell the most its least successful Coach to go.
Who could forget the Never Ever Give In mantra!

Hinkley blames “the gulf between the two teams” for the loss.
WTF has he been doing for the past 13 ****ing years😡
It feels like 2011 all over again. I hate everything about this club right now.
Richardson has to go too.

We entered the game in bad shape. Had to be a game where the sleeves were rolled up and we got in the Crows faces and made it tough for them at every opportunity. We should have been an irritation and got under their skin. We had nothing to lose. They have bigger fish to fry this year (sadly). Lame in almost every respect. Only one team wanted to be there.

Are we going to get even a shred of accountability from the club for last night?

Even an acknowledgment from someone that that simply wasn't good enough?

No, it'll be hide, distract, excuse, downplay, move on!

Will someone, anyone in the media not turn the heat on?

Like "Kenny's heartbreak". Paahhhleeaaase, we have to be getting trolled at this point! HE'S THE HEAD COACH, HE'S RESPONSIBLE! It's our heartbreak as supporters, for 13 seasons!

Any other club in the land, any other coach, there'd be dissections and soundbite statements galore today, like it's an open goal, just roll the ball into the back of the net......please, someone!

We knew we were going to lose before the press conference. We knew we were going to lose by a record showdown margin after his comments in the press conference.
After seeing that pathetic press conference, I didn't even bother tuning in. The result was already written.

Hinkley’s insisting the loss wasn’t due to a lack of effort but because the Crows are a much better side. Of course he would say that as lack of effort is reason to sack him immediately. It was plain as day that lack of effort was a reason but the club doesn’t have the spine to dump him as head coach
