Chris Dittmarr on Triple M radio this morning calling out Koch, Richardson & Davies to come forward with their future plans because their silence is unacceptable.

The plan, as far as we know, is still 'Chasing Greatness' where we will aim to win 3 flags in 5 years by being 'unbelievably connected'

We're now in year 5 so not long to go now for glory.

I would have sacked him after 2005, as I’ve already stated. So, for me, it’s obvious that the 2007 GF loss was a sackable offense.

In my view, Choco was already “playing with House money” for 2 seasons.
I tend to agree with this. We could’ve made a huge call and just let everyone know in the club that a performance like that in an elimination final against our cross town rival was totally unacceptable. It would’ve been a shock and huge call, but possibly a missed opportunity in keeping everyone on the ball.
Then we double down after 2007…

Jesus, you know it’s bad when Free Lunches Dittmar is publicly calling out the club. Dude’s been on the gravy train for years.

these posts are bizarre what did we expect to happen
Yep this season has just been a slow motion train wreck from the second the succession plan was announced. Not sure why people expected different...

"Now Ken you aren't up to it, so even though you want to stay, we're going to have to sack you. Josh you're the man, go in and see what you can do."

"Ok should I start Monday?"

"No... start in like... a year... oh and Ken just sort of stick around and still half be in charge for the next year... Josh listen to Ken but also... don't..."

How could anyone ever imagine that working?

Timmy G disgusted

You know what? Ginevar can actually get ****ed. The tme to say this stuff was years ago. He kept quiet. Now that Hinkley is out the door he dares say something? He's safe to say it? Well mate, its years too late. The horse bolted a long time ago and you kept quiet. We know what you thought privately, but you were too spineless to say it publicly. Weak as Piss. You are as complicit as anybody.

That is really easy to say when you don't depend on that industry to feed your kids.

Having said that though:

Pre 2004 PAFC: Leave now Ken, we want to see Josh lift the spirits of the players on the list starting now.
AFL managed PAFC: What if Josh doesn't do well in the next 4 weeks, oh no, we can't risk it.

Clearly, with Ken still being here, the head of the fish is still rotten.

The disrespect from outsiders can hide envy, which is good. The current disrespect we experience is of a different kind — a bad one.

My point is that we cannot control what others do. It’s their problem. What we do is our problem.
We can complain loudly & publicly about the free kick differiential. Its a disgrace & is not coincidental. Umpires know the Afl dont give a crap about PA so when an umpiring decision is made there's no repercussions if its a bad one. The club should have been screaming regularly & as a last resort accused the umpires of bias. Take the fine, who cares, the point has to be made strongly to raise the stakes.

We can also complain about the biased commentary. Publicly question their integrity (they have none) with examples from our games from the worst offenders. Take them on, even ridicule their bias & state they are supporters not commentators. We need a strong football character to take these people on. Its got alot worse over recent years & has to be stopped.

Brave captain, great player who busted his gut to get us into the Afl. He then failed us badly (like many others) by staying silent when he knew Hinkley wasn't the answer & was damaging the club. 100% agree he can get f***ed.

We are still in that Kochie pandering mind set of being every ones second club from 2014. That concept died off pretty quickly as the AFL was keen to set up the next fairy-tale team, the Western Bulldogs in 2016.

I actually thought the players would rally far more to give Daddy, who they care so much about (supposedly), a decent farewell season. Thought we'd finish 7-8.

Thought Luko might pull his finger out given he's mates with our Captain & make a difference to our disfunctional forward line. Thought Logan Evans would continue on from his excellent debut half-season. Thought JHF would have an even better year than 24. Thought Soldo would get back to his form from the first half of 24 pre-injury. Thought Burgoyne would take a bigger step forward & continue his form displayed in the Hawks final. Thought BZT would continue to improve as a lock down defender. Thought Rioli would show his undoubted talent more often & have better fitness levels.

NONE of this happened.

Strangely, most of those players mentioned have struggled with their fitness since preseason. I wonder who's fault is that?

Agree, Koch is a big part of this & we have to get rid of him. Hes covetted an Afl role & I see this as a massive conflict of interest in his role of looking after PA.

Imo the Afl will never appoint him in that role so hes wasting his time & energy & destroying us in the process.

I wonder how many "I told you so" moments Tredrea has had during the board meetings this season?
Things have gone very quiet re Tredders. I thank him wholeheartedly for caring enuf about our club to put his football reputation on the line. Good call Tredders.

To all the other previous PA players - you should be ashamed of yourselves.

We could do all that, but we don’t. Why? Because we don’t have self-respect.

Things have gone very quiet re Tredders.

He told me that he’s “trying to hang in there”.

The fact that he was right all along is probably harming even more his delicate position at the club.

Huh? Didn’t Rowe go off at how Adelaide were travelling multiple times? He still has a job.

Disappointing that the players let their Daddy down again.

Highlight of the night was Miles Bergman deliberately kicking the wrong way with the first disposal of the game as a FU to Kenny Hinkley.

All in all it was a night of "history in the making".

Biggest ever Showdown losing margin.
Lowest Port Adelaide score in a Showdown.
Equalled the lowest ever Showdown score set by the Crows in a COVID shortened game.

To top it all off Kenny Hinkley set a new record for the number of V/AFL games coached without making a Grand Final.

The Kenny Hinkley Farewell Tour just gets better and better. Really looking forward to Kenny being celebrated at Kardinia Park next Sunday arvo.

Chasing greatness is a great plan if you have great people in lots of position, with runs on the board

Except we have a plonker in pretty much every major position of note within the football club

‘twas the dumbest concept ever and shows how wide Matthew milquetoast is from the mark

Tredrea talking around in circles as he has since joining the board. Ginever belatedly saying what many here have been since 2017.
Where ya been Timmy..got a sore arse from sitting on the fence.. time to tell us what ya really think.. show how much you love the club..**** ya paid gigs

Matthew Nicks on 360 tonight said that the Crows "had [their] foot on the throat the entire day".

Can anyone remember the last time we did that?

We've had the occasional blow-out win in recent years - Sydney in R21 2024, Carlton R22 2021, etc. - but I can't remember us winning a game in anything like the commanding fashion that Adelaide did on Saturday.
