Yes but there is subconscious meaning to words used. Even chasing as a word isn't the correct word. Destined more impactful, achieving another. Chasing is a desperate meaning for an outcome.

Coach actually makes some analysis of what was occuring on the field in a statement, and you want him to just drop to a mindless platitude of "wasn't good enough, need to do better". Might as well just say "we need to work harder".

Make analysis all you want but someone from the club needs to make a statement that its unacceptable.

The goal posts have shifted from 3 premierships in 5 years to winning a premiership to making a prelim to making finals to winning h&a games to "trying even though we dont look like we are" in 98 point losses.

Someone needs to make a statement and not continue to sweep this shit under the carpet. They've let us down.

Edit as well to clarify for Duckimus Prime : My post was replying to a Carr interview but it wasnt aimed at just him. Someone, anyone from the club needs to make a statement.

Last time in pouring rain like Saturday Night, was in 2017, the last time the crows made the finals. There have been other showdowns in wet, dewy conditions in the last 8 years but these 2 had really heavy rain that waterlogged the ground.

The benefit of straight kicking. As bad as Saturday night was, we should have lost by 120+ pts in 2017.

GremioPower these two games are prime examples of why I started the 4 seasons in a season thread. Under Hinkley, when the weather is bad, his game plan is exposed and we don't do well, a lot of clear losses, and occasionally get really smashed on the scoreboard.

I think that the Good-Friday win in Perth over the Eagles (2019?) was in bad weather.

But, even if it were, I don’t remember others, really.

Bad, but nowhere as bad as the two I mentioned. It didn't pour for long periods during the game.
