Thats not a second string Crows side you troll.

They're nearly full strength. Keane for Borlase is a nothing change when Borlase is allowed to scrag just as much as Keane does.

Its just Dawson and Fogarty that's missing.

****ing second string side? Thats more like what we're rolling with injury.
Mitch Hinge, Dawson, Butts, Ahchee , Keane, walker, Fogarty

In addition to a 5 day break coming back from Brisbane

Their midfield is shit and they scored more from stoppages than we did. Dawson is their only good midfielder and he didn't play.

-2 rotations after QT

No excuses.

Hawthorn beats Adelaide by 60+ tonight.

And players just returning from injury undone. And no bench left.

That was nowhere near a full strength side after half time.

I call that a choke. I'm honest and true to my PAFC beliefs.

PAFC wins those games. Or maybe we are not them anymore?

I thought Marshall had some really poor efforts tonight, just can’t trust him in an intense game in defence. With Jones, Bergman and to a lesser extent Lai’s and Evans’ ability to play tall, i wouldn’t be playing Todd, Aliir and Sav together like we did first two games this year. Sav in for Marshall due to his superior size and marking. Our defence is shaping up nicely imo.

Would've been nice to watch that mob lose, but can't say I'm upset. We were the better team for all but a patch of about five minutes, the kids in Whitlock Berry Evans and Lai all stood up really well, and we maintained our draft pick. Like the Hawks game, another perfect long term result.

One negative comment; drop Jacob Wehr to the Port Districts reserves, pay out his contract and delist him. Offers nothing offensively, and directly responsible for two goals including the winner defensively.

And it’s a concern

Why is Carr and the new coaching staff unable to identify the issue?

Why are our players not learning from close losses?

It’s not luck anymore, it’s legitimately a trend.
It’s footballers lacking composure and making stupid decisions at critical times.
I also put it down to lack of leadership on the ground over the years.

He wouldn’t be tough enough for the Port Districts reserves.

I would have understood if we lost because their forwards and backline obliterated us as they usually do but the fact that it was the midfield that got pooped on makes it hard to accept
100%

Their backline dominated us off the back of their midfield controlling the game and them having the territory battle won.

Positive is just that we held up down back and were in the game despite -20 x i50s.

Negative is just the fact that our mids never showed the right intensity and allowed themselves to be bullied out of it.

Huh?

They smashed us in territory

We were lucky to even come close. We were efficient early , yes. The better side , no.

Lost by a point when I reckon we have a fair bit of improvement in us.

That was a bloody good game to watch. End to End pressure. Close finish.

Just couldn't get clean ball use into the forward line often enough. Errors in ball handling in key moments.

Found out a bit about players that have the ability to stand up Whitlock Berry in particular.

Disappointed. Angry but realistic that it is a journey.

We used to win those games, that stopped years ago.
