We were outplayed all night.
Explain that, logically. Perception is not fact.
It was a 1 point margin.

We were outplayed all night.
Thrashed even.Atleast we had a bench. Their only good midfielder didn't play and we still got beaten in that area.
Port dominated clearances until 3rd quarter. We won clearances by 1?
I’m not a boomer champ, why are you following a sporting organisation hoping they lose. Losers attitudeOk boomer.
No. I want my high draft pick that the AFL has now made the sole focus of this season.
I didn’t write these stupid rules, but this is the only way to play the game.

I'm not entertaining any other thoughtsI find it absolutely wild that there's some people here that thought he was staying.
When Berry wins a showdown medal you definitely bottom 4
Did he tho? Tackled a lot..Smashed our highly rated mids tonight.
Didn’t miss him last weekMarshall is a very odd one
Not a defenders arse
Does nothing when he goes forward
What’s the point if he’s getting 0 possessions in a half
It was garbage tonightOne thing I noticed is I thought our ball movement was far more stagnant than against Hawthorn and Geelong. Less use of the corridor and less risk taking.

What game were you watching?Would've been nice to watch that mob lose, but can't say I'm upset. We were the better team for all but a patch of about five minutes, the kids in Whitlock Berry Evans and Lai all stood up really well, and we maintained our draft pick. Like the Hawks game, another perfect long term result.
One negative comment; drop Jacob Wehr to the Port Districts reserves, pay out his contract and delist him. Offers nothing offensively, and directly responsible for two goals including the winner defensively.
At least they win showdownsWhen you haven't won a final for over 8 years you need fairytales
We were definitely beaten through the middle in the last half but JHF had a knee to the back that slowed him down that added pressure to Butters. He needs to get fitter then, because Sam Berry pantsed him and horny. Sam flipping Berry
Crows have always used the same game plan against us by clogging the corridor. One thing I noticed is I thought our ball movement was far more stagnant than against Hawthorn and Geelong. Less use of the corridor and less risk taking.
Noticed this too. Was very noticeable compared to last 2 games where we took the dangerous kicks through the middle again and again. Might have been because the game had more heat. Players were visibly second guessing themselves at times. One thing I noticed is I thought our ball movement was far more stagnant than against Hawthorn and Geelong. Less use of the corridor and less risk taking.
Crows did there homework, werent going to allow easy centre corridor movement. One thing I noticed is I thought our ball movement was far more stagnant than against Hawthorn and Geelong. Less use of the corridor and less risk taking.
The better side is the one that scores more points. Take out 3 minutes either side of three quarter time and we won that game by 5 goals. We were the better team for all but a patch of 5 minutes?
Huh?
They smashed us in territory
We were lucky to even come close. We were efficient early , yes. The better side , no.
