I’m not worried at all. We’ve had a horror injury run, new coach and expected to be a bottom team versus a team that is meant to be a contender.

Umpires? We did way better than them in that regard. They had a goal disallowed that was a joke

Umpires are always shite but we got a better run than we usually do.

Pretty bloody good effort to get back from basically twenty points down.

Good game to watch. Shite one to lose.

I felt we lost it in quarters 2 and 3. We started getting out hunted around the ground. They were ostensibly more ferocious than us both in tackling and getting their arms free in tackles, and they got their spread back, often getting multiple numbers around the perimeter to receive the handball and set up clean forward forays.

We didn't really give a yelp in the midfield and on the very few occasions that Butters or JHF got a clean clearance, they fanned out wide and kicked short and ineffectively.

We allowed Adelaide far too many inside 50s, and conversely didn't create enough ourselves.

Got no run from MacKinlay or Moraes. Richards dropped right off as the game went on, and Durdin simply doesn't get involved enough.
