PORT Adelaide has stopped Adelaide legend and football director Mark Ricciuto from entering its inner sanctum in his role as Fox Footy commentator this weekend.

Ricciuto was in the Power rooms after Steven Motlop’s miracle game-winning goal in the Round 8 Showdown but won’t be in there for Saturday’s return bout.

The Power also took issue with having Ricciuto — a Crows board member — report on the pre-game huddle just before the opening bounce in his role as boundary rider but Fox said its official request was for post-game media only.

Last month current Port Adelaide player Hamish Hartlett — who is currently sidelined with a knee injury — was granted access to the Crows’ rooms to interview its players after the win over Geelong as part of Fox Footy’s ‘player takeover round’.
