We were a start up club, we had zero members, we had no lockers, change rooms and a few Alco huts as offices. That's not an insult mate, that's brilliant business acumen to develop the brand, product and cash flow. You know, to pay the players.

Toyota rewarded us with a sponsorship and they have been very loyal to us ever since. 23 years and counting. One hand washes the other.

For the first time I believe the SANFL's figures are dodgy. No way we only had 42k at our game either. It was packed.

At the Crows Pies game at AAMI last year, I took my binoculars and looked around the entire stadium and it was at most 1 or 2 seats empty in a bay empty other than 1 spot in the entire stadium that had 6 seats missing. The upper level of the northern grand stand, which I was in, was fully packed as well and it only said something like 44,000 people. Couldn't see where they could fit the extra 6,000-7,000 people. Is there anything for the SANFL to gain by intentionally claiming there are less people in the stadium than there actually is?

I've covered this in detail on our board, but IMO 27k would have been the max. Yes, I think $ANFL fudge the figures and yes they have dodgy turnstyles, but there wasn't 28-30k there.
