Having watched the Port game at the ground last week, they were as impressive as Geelong were terrible. Hopefully that was the peak of their early season spike, they lost to West Coast at home, after leading by 5 goals FFS.

If we start handballing in a circle I am leaving and catching the train home early though.

We've been playing average football and are very gettable.

I also don't think Port are that good outside their 3 amigos, despite playing well recently.

I reckon there is a club-wide problem with a drop-off in team play and team defence, the Nicks non-negotiable, in both the As and Bs. Given that, we are always going to be up against it, regardless of individual performances of Crows and oppo.

The SANFL today was a good example. The oppo just passed the ball to each other and did normal team things, without any notable stars, while we actually couldn't. The point was that they all did this normal stuff, while only a few of us played football, with no team defence.

I think it's been an incredibly emotional fortnight.
Like last week, I think we may look a bit slow and behind it.
I'm sure there are plenty of people who have been in a similar situation, when involved in their footy club.

I see us winning, Nicks will be frightened of the ramifications of losing a showdown so he will throw the usual game plan out the window and allow the players to play a free flowing game. It will still be an ugly game and I see it probably as a 2 goal win. But wallpaper cracks games are Nicks specialty

Carr seems to have implemented the game plan in record time.
Even with their midfield strength we have more talent it they have better coaching

That maybe but they really need to be aware of our slow methodical perfect possession rebounding counter attack football. We will chip through them no problems
