once the ball escapes from the congested space, the clumsy scrum, there is no pressure anywhere else on the ground.

whoever breaks, finds themselves in acres of space without any real opponents or contest.

this is awful defensive footy.

Gray is the master of "Throw your hands in their air at any contact" it's no wonder he gets so many cheapies around the packs. Lucky he missed that goal though, he's been on fire from set shots.

Davis copped a knock there, think it was just his knees banging together so hopefully he'll be right. Need more Jaensch though. Cook has been great too.

Really happy with the boys intensity - so far for a half of footy. Hopefully we can keep it up for the full game. Loving Reilly's game today - he's going in hard and tackling hard too. Not sure what his stats are but his 1%'ers (except for the brief brainfade in last few minutes) have been exceptional. Loving that our senior boys are leading by example.

whilst i am happy that we are winning the fact still remains that once again we have failed to capitalise on a significant number of forward entries

the sad part is we know that it is going hurt us eventually and we will be finding all the reason in the world to why we lost other than the fact we didn't kick straight.

Enjoying a great game here. Porplyzia killing it in our forward line. Players kicking more than they handball . Tackling has been great and gee.. what about Johncock's mark in the last few seconds of the 2nd quarter .

Also, Burton's unselfish play by kicking it to Porps when he could have gone for goal was great to see.

Obviously should be slightly further in front.

Great to see Porps get so much of the balls, but expect them to clamp down on him heavily in the second.

Applying plenty of pressure and winning a good proportion of contests, which is setting many opportunities up.
