This may seem minor to some, but imo it clearly highlights media bias.

Everytime the Pies played they show Craig McRae every 5 frigging minutes (this reminds me a bit of how they showed Roger Federers box all the time in tennis). Did they even show Bevo once tonight? I missed the first quarter and was distracted much of the third but don't recall seeing him. This happens every time Collingwood plays. They show him all the time and usually barely show the oppo coach. Why? Cos he's always on the boundary? Are they told to? Its like they assume most viewers only care about him. Any film student knows its about selectively manipulating the viewer's attention, make them see things from his pov. They've had a constant hard on for the bloke since 2022. I mean with Eddie's son getting a media gig (nothing against the lad, I'm sure most would embrace the opportunity) it really makes you think of the interests in the league, media etc. You can't deny it reflects a major bias.

Yes ..one can deny your ridiculous and inane complaint.

“ Interests in the league , media etc” ?

Learn to construct an interesting argument before wasting bandwidth.

Same as when we won in '18 and instead of showing the Eagles coaches celebrating, all we got was sad Buckley.

Was good seeing Eddie's reaction in the crowd after the Sheed goal though :thumbsu:
Sad Buckley was far more entertaining than happy Simpson.

Don't you remember the days of yore when sales of the daily newspapers were on the decline, the editors were sure to put out editions with a front page story titled, "Magpie Chief hits out!"

Footscray should be on the phone right now to get Taylor Swift in the coaches box with Bevo.

Problem solved.

The media has worshipped Mcrae since he took over. When the pies won all those close games in 2023 it reached cult leader status, when it got down to the last few minutes they would say Mcrae was controlling the game with his aura and presence. Like Kim Jong il moving a mountain with his mind. Rather than natural variance like getting heads on a coin flip 5 times in a row that balanced itself out last year.

Then the wankfest over his kid being born on grand final day. Like Mcrae had transcended life and football and was now operating on a higher plain. He's my most hated coach

Easy guy - that’s quite rude . Let’s treat each other with some damn respect around here

And funnily, he didn’t even have the leagues best record in close games over the last couple of years.

There’s another coach that has gone 13-2 over games less than 2 goals since 2023.
This coach also gets an inordinate amount of camera time, standing on the boundary line.

Here you go.
