Fantastic gut running at high speed but Swanny also uses the bench more than most to get it done so I can see how people under rate his endurance. Those repeat effort don't happen without it though.
The difference being, Swan is still running as hard in the dying minutes as anyone. All the gut runners get a rest, and sure, Swan might get a few minutes more, but his gut running and ability to run to the right spots has been a hallmark of his career, for mine. He's an unconventional but elite athlete.

Time trial wise, he may not be able to match it with the elite time trialists, sprint wise he cannot complete with the elite sprinters, but after running 15 or 20 km's in-game, he is one of the few who can keep on going.

You don't get the elite numbers Swan has consistently racked up over his career by not having elite endurance.

Aye, but the point was that Sidebottom's game does not rely upon pace, therefore he's unlikely to drop off quickly.

Swan, as we saw when he played through injury for quite some time, isn't the same player without his burst speed.

Lol we always cough up goals with less than 30 seconds left in a qtr. But can't fault the effort this qtr.
Bugger in the wrong thread. Oops

Yep, I agree fully, just saying that you can understand how his endurance can be under rated
