Taking 3/54 on day 3 of the test vs the Sharks, sidey was asked what he thought of the SoO selection process.
' If i was captain, i'd be choosing performing players, not players who have done nothing in the majority of games this year.'
But Hilly has a different frame of mind, 'we are in the position where we can just draft sidey into the squad if we lose the 1st game, but i was advised by eddiesmith to not pick him, as it would just mean sides against us could only bat untill the 35-40 over mark because he's a freakish bowler, but we want to chase bigger target's so players like myself can make a name,' Hilly stated.

It is very clear that players with the talent of sidey can skip SoO and still make the international squad.
The only thing against him is he hasn't been getting good batsmen out, i mean has anyone ever even heard of Kapow!!! (twice) or Blue Red + Gold?
All he can do is keep bowling like a champion and the Milkmen will move further up the ladder.

Mate you were absolutely no chance for SOO.
Stat's are alright, but nothing there to say you can be consistant.

Also must say im happier with my 28.1-11-49-4 in our current test, and we're playing on a batters pitch.

Let's face it, you've shown a bit, but dude to your own stupidity havn't proved yourself (not that you've had the chance)

There are simply better options in the metro squad at the moment, can't take out woodstock for you as not only does he have more experience, we have enough spin kings.
