Do you feel like they lied to you for over a decade?

Is that based on what they've said or on what someone else told you? Like most Murdoch critics you dont read or view what is actually said.
Apologies to the Crow from Sydney who does have Foxtel, more probably for the footy, but its more likely Ms Credlin that exercises his mind. Add that to watching the Crows more recently.

New organisation launched for those who despise the Murdocracy in this country

Australians for a Murdoch Royal Commission (AFMRC), chaired by former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, wants to compile enough evidence of what is regards as bias, misinformation and distorted reporting to trigger a probe into Australia’s monopolistic media environment.

The campaign follows a media diversity inquiry earlier this year in which Rudd claimed he was “fearful of the Murdoch media beast” when he was in office.

Except that the Murdoch media beast (which he actively courted) did in fact support him for a long time, until it became apparent that his "personality defects" were deleterious to the functioning of the government and he lost the support of just about everyone. Does he so lack self-awareness that he can't see that he contributed to his own downfall? The anecdotes and reports are legion.

Very difficult to take anything Rudd says with a grain of salt.

That kinda reinforces the point that we need a royal commission into this...the fact that whoever Murdoch supports can and will become PM.

Even if they just support the best candidate at the time - have supported both sides... News outlets were ever thus. We need them to cut through the BS and tell us the truth.

Certainly not supporting Morrison right now, through thick and thin. Who will they support next election? If it's Labor (Prime Minister Albanese*) what then?

They'll support whoever challenges Morrison for leadership of the LNP.
