Manager confirms that Petrie wants to play at West Coast and that no other clubs are interested in him. Also says that Petrie is one of 3-4 big men we have our eyes on and there is no indication which one we are keen to pick up at this stage. Hopefully Petrie is at the bottom of that list.

Brown has been offered a contract by WCE which he is weighing up. Also MacKenzie's manager says he would look at any offers that came in, but wants to stay.

I can't take credit for that though - there's a thread on the Freo board regarding old mate Hagdorn. Apparently as a youngster playing grade cricket Karl Langdon called Hagdorn crumpet face.

And Karl can't take the credit for it either, was a pretty standard name/putdown for the pock-marked Haggers, & c*&t.... Karl was/is a bit left field, but not sure he would've had the balls to say that to Haggers face to face bowling thunderbolt chin music at him, but maybe he was that stupid. Pretty talented cricket player Karl, and pretty good bowler was Haggers. Anyway,Karl gave %100 & would've died for the cause at cricket and at WCE.....now he joins elite company with Haggers in journalism...
