Silly Season is back again there has been a few rumours going around the pie camp what do u think might happen?
Caracella was one of the names poped up to be wanting to leave to dons, i have heard collingwood along with his names a few times, we could use someone like him in our midfeild, we have Buckley, Licca, O'Bree, Lockyer and then the talent drops right off, there is no real depth in our midfeild.
Everitt Like last year he is rumoured to be leaving the saints and collingwood is listed as one of the clubs trying to get his services, Is geting abit old now but as Fraser is almosy souly becoming a key forward we could use him to back up McKee and also down forward, You have to admit most backlines would be stretched trying to cover Everitt, Fraser and Rocca.
Stevens This one seems abit dodgey i cant see port wanting to get rid of such a young talented midfeilder, his name has been poped up with Didaks but i would much rather Didak, Stevens will be a great player, but didak has the potential to be a super star
Cupido I know him fairly well, he is a great player, tuff, skillful and hard at the ball, couldnt work his way back into the brisbane side after doing his shoulder, has alot of potential and hates it in brisbane, really wants to come back to melbourne with his family and freinds.
K.Johnson Has been thrown around alot in the carey deal, as collingwood has also been thrown around as a three way deal option, great player proberbly will win adelaides best and fairest this year, dont like our chances of geting him, as carlton and saints are also interested and have alot more to offer
Holland I have heard after his little incident in the car outside the school he has been told to pack his bags, apparently it wasnt his first off feild mishap and has been shown the door, Started the season well, couldnt get a game later in the season due to Didak coming of age and taking on his spot as a roving forward, Could be great trade bait, essendon could do with a small forward like him, Caracella for Holland would work out great, of course it wouldnt be a strait swap we would have to throw in some draft picks or other fringe players
N.Davis I seriously think he will leave collingwood even aftetr a grand final apearance, Sydney is were he wants to be, i say if he wants to go let him, no use keeping someone who doesnt want to be there, he is highly rated although didnt do much this year, we could get a fair bit for him. Sydney really have no one we could use other then Mott or Sadington but they wont be going anywere, maybe a 3 way deal to get someone like Jess Sinclair of north who is out of contract or even part of a deal to get Spider Everitt to collingwood
Freeborn As good a player as he can be, he is inconistant and i just dont think he fits into our team well, could be used as trade bait along with a couple of other fringe players in Dimmatina or Kinnear. Could be used in a deal to get Cupido.
