I reckon simmo will be a late withdrawl with a dodgy knee from last week. Cartledge obviously the replacement, good move as simmo doesn't go well carrying injuries

maybe its bc in the context of the whole season cartledge has been much much better than Graham.

I prefer the coaching staff to reward whose been better overall than on the back of 1 game maybe 2.

Cartledge is more ready for AFL than Graham anyway. As Tony said, Cartledge has been good all year.

Twisted Cartildge reads the ball a touch better than Graham and keeps he's feet more often a better bet i think

err, thats an upgraded rookie selection that had to be made for Cartledge to be named, clearly a futile process if he won't play, at ease now boy, get back to playing fiddle stix

Well let's touch on the "upgraded rookie" scenario. Do we actually have to upgrade him to name him as an emergency?

If the answer to the above is YES, then is Patto in danger of being dropped? This could also be a scenario, although Patto was named at CHF so he prob wont be dropped when the teams come in at about 6pm tonight.

Has anyone actually been to training this week and seen Simmo train? These are the types of information we need before we go all out and say "Simmo wont play".

I mentioned in the other thread that Simmo stopped to chat about his left knee with the fitness coordinator midway through training doing one leg bends to test it out before joining in main training. The rucks Simmo, Patto, Cartledge and Gus training separately with Monkhurst for most of the session.

listen up pal, mind turning down the blowtorch you're scorching the fuzz on my booty...it's a qualified hunch having put two and two together ...geez now I know how Phoenix felt when I busted his chops on membership numbers

Hopefully Gus gets a couple of games at the end of the season. Cartledge probably offers more for the adelaide game, but certainly not long-term. He won't be promoted to the senior list you would think.
