He led Richmond in contested marks and hard ball gets for the last few years

He is one of our highest hard ball get winners, highest in contested marks, highest in AFL for contested marks inside 50 one of the leaders for contested marks and his second efforts have been fantastic.

but he is a donut after all :D

holland cant even play senior footy, his best has gone long long ago

holland will earn more last year and this season than simmonds will earn in 5 years. nuff said

I said what Holland produced at his best will be better anything Simmonds will be able to produce at any time of his career. Holland is finished, I know that, but he was a gun and he'll retire and we'll send him off, have an extra 600K in the salary cap, and you'll have simmonds for another 4 years.

thats bentleigh being sarcastic, hes on 1.2 mill over 5 yrs = abt 250k per season.

ottens is a good player but the point trolls keep missing is we're very happy paying simmonds abt 200k less than wot we were paying ottens for relatively similar output (going on ottos last couple of seasons)

yes we will and as long as he keeps performing the way he is, its a bargain at that price. worth every dollar of his 250k per season contract so far. I know holland was a good player once, but that was long ago and youve paid him with interest since then.
 
Potentially, Ottens is a superstar. At the moment he's only a very good player, though. Hopefully he recaptures his form from a few seasons ago when he was an out and out match winner.

As for Troy Simmonds, I wouldn't say he's a very good player, but I wouldn't exactly call him average. He's in between very good and average. Does that make him good?
 
Why compare, They werent traded for each other.

Geelong are happy with Otto

Richmond is presume are happy with Simmo

Aslong as both clubs are happy thats all that really matters.
