Simon Gittany's current girlfriend is not on trial and posts casting aspersions in her direction will be deleted and from this point, quite possibly infracted. The posts that remain standing, such as a little discussion on why a girl would want to go out with Simon is topical but when it starts implying potential drug habits or indeed sexual insults it goes too far.

didn't see this until just now, what a disgrace. that show has been bottom of the pits for years, and of all the shit they have done this is one of the worst.

As for him, it has since been revealed he has done two stints in jail. One for supplying drugs. This would possibly give hints as to why his occupation was never mentioned, although it is said he was in the sports supplements business (wonder if he knows Dank).

I hope he is ready for what is awaiting him in jail.
A sentencing of life, never to be released still feels not good enough for this parasite.
To me, the performance in the elevator after he killed her is one of someone who is very aware there is a camera on him and trying to act distressed. He first looks at himself at the metal wall, then throws his arms up and down in an attempt to capture the act of her jumping to try and establish that is what she did.
The fact that he was monitoring her texts would have revealed she was preparing to escape this controlling, jealous scumbag, which would have enraged him and hence, the murder.
The current girlfriend doesn't realise that the only reason she was not subjected to the same abuse is that that he was using her to portray himself as a kind, loving and warm person during the trial, but the public and court didn't buy this performance either.

The ABC dude's evidence was fairly compelling. Guy wearing no shirt throwing something of a balcony, that happened to be the same balcony as theirs, at the same time as the CCTV footage of a shortless guy dragging her back into the apartment.

Very few people were expecting a not guilty verdict.

Yes, I was only aware of the ABC guy's testimonial today. Thought it interesting that the judge mentioned the absence of fingerprints pointing to one of two obvious conclusions: the railing was wiped down; or, more likely, she was tossed over. You would expect if it occurred the way the defence is claiming you'd find fingerprints on the railing.

The judge should be sacked then. Guilty, no remorse at all, lies all trial. If there was ever a life without parole this was it. However I suspect they will give him a 30 year non parole sentence. Still doesn't bring back the poor girl though

Depends but definitely can't claim good behaviour that is for sure. Not sure if it is a mandatory life though
