A 26 year stint annihilates a person's life. And in this case takes him right through the length of time any "hardening" in jail as a criminal would have any utility on release. Also let's him out in time to be a drain on his folks rather than the state, which is handy.

Don't lament, the judge has very effectively ended Gittany's life. In two and a half decades he'll just be a broken old man with none of the earned comforts of other people his age.

Mixed emotions on his sentence today. Happy that he's going to locked away for at least 18 years, but still fell he has got off pretty light.
Hopefully in his appeal he'll get a heavier sentence.

In this case, yes, I think it absolutely should, even though he probably didn't wake up that morning and go 'I'm throwing Lisa off a balcony today', he has a history as Oneiros has eluded to.

Seven really do need to give Rachelle her own comedy show.In tonights pt 2 interview she says she's giving Simon 5 years to be acquitted or she's leaving him as she wants to start a family [poor kid].Yep,she really does love him.
Then she says she might go to Law School so she can get Simon acquitted.
