Hi, MM here. Not only am I, MisterMarto, a player for the SWAMPRATS and anti-teetotaller, I am an ambassador for the mighty SWAMPRATS.

We are the phoenix rising from the ashes. We are the 2012 Michael Clarke to your Steve Smith (lol). We are the SWAMPRATS to your club with little comparative tradition. Don't be mad, most clubs were born equal, but not all clubs were made equal. The SWAMPRATS are more equal than others. It's nothing personal. Don't look at me like that, just stating some facts

Just wanna get some feels about how you see us, how you see our Season 16 going? Do you adore us, those privileged enough to pull on the jumper of the SWAMPRATS and run out onto Alberton Oval? Are you jelly? We don't really mind if you hate us. We love the 'us against them' philosophy

SWAMPRATS recruit's amazing pre-season transformation, PICS INCLUDED FOR YOUR FAPPING PLEASURE


There's something in the beer at Alberton Oval.

Or at least that's those watching the amazing transformation of MisterMarto's rig might suspect. The new Alberton Swamprats recruit has had a whopping pre-season at the Prince of Wales and he looks ready for a big season.

"Flogs are gonna think we're on the gear but I can assure them all that's not the case," the bulked-up Swamprat quipped.

"Just shows what a good diet and a few bicep curl reps at the bar can do."

When MisterMarto arrived at Alberton Oval you'd be forgiven for thinking the Southern Dragons, his former club, had banned meat and beer at Dragon Island. His physique was not at the required standard.

"My trollceps were bulging but that's all in the head - if I had my way I'd get Mobbs to include that in the Qooty sim, I guess I'll just have to live with him not taking my sweet new shoulders into account. The bloke's got a hard-on for nice rigs - not that there's anything wrong with that," he quickly adds.

It promises to be a huge year for the Swampies and the new man left little doubt about his team's prospects.

"We're massive, flogs are gonna be cowering in their cyberboots, our trolling is sweet and our livers unrivalled, premiership contenders for sure."

Certainly if the view at Alberton Oval is anything to go by currently, there is a strong possibility of the Swamprats contending deep in the SFA Finals Series of Season 16.

Swamprats Farewell Season in Style

The final Swamprat function (outside of the weekly Pool 'n' Dart Thursday) of S16 took place tonight, with the Swamprat player review. This reporter was lucky enough to be the only media allowed to cover the prestigious event, with SFA MEDIA being escorted from the premises after being caught trying to sneak in through a bathroom window.

The night started off with a bang, with a somewhat disturbing tribute (by spookism, Kickpuncher and El_Scorcho) to every Swampies favourite pre-game beverage: FUIC. Most of the footage was sourced from El_Scorcho 's home videos, if any of you are ever invited over for a coffee, decline the invitation. The tribute was originally meant to be lead by Gee Dub, it is believed that the part was the focus of the Swamprat offer to the Bombers captain. But when Gee Dub declined the offer, his part was cut from the script. Gee Dub declined to comment further than to say that he was never drinking FUIC again.



This was followed by an even more disturbing performance from the club captain, MannumPower. He certainly displayed all of the flexibility that has made him a difficult match-up in the midfield throughout the season. MP has said the skit was a tribute to his favourite caped crusader, pantskyle.



The highlight of the night for this reporter was certainly Member of One PAFC claiming that he was so strong he could break through a thick layer of ice whilst bombying. It is presumed a fairly large amount of alcohol was ingested before attempting this, the usually properly spoken MoOP was speaking German before the attempt.



There have been several ruours surrounding a sketch that was planned being shelved by MannumPower. Sources close to the Swamprats camp have hinted that the sketch in question involved several jabs at league boss boncer34 's sexual orientation, and beez 's adequacy in bed, which Swamprat skipper MannumPower decided wasn't worth the tantrums that it would cause.

This reporter gives the night a 2/10 based on performance and a 10/10 for the FUIC on tap.​

And Millky95 ...you will be pleased to know that you were unwittingly following in a club legend's footsteps with your Sliding Doors series last season

Ant Bear was again impressive and kept his name a top of the spam chart but it was miggs who took the thread by storm with his 195 posts. Fellow rookies Far Kern and sportsmaniac89 also chipped in with solid numbers and quality posting.
