Showed the difference straight kicking makes! Everything else he's been doing has been fantastic, but his kicking let him down terribly. He kept doing what he was doing but more of his kicks hit the mark against Brisbane and bang, you have a good player.

Hope he keeps it up!
 
I've bagged Sinclair over the past month. His attitude can't be faulted but his finishing hasn't been up to the Pies standards. It was a relief seeing him kick that one on the run though, maybe there is hope.

I have only just watched the game against Brisbane, thanks to Thenumber13 and his wonderful site. Sinclair was pretty impressive in the first half making me even more anxious to see the player taken after him in the draft, Josh Thomas. Congrats to Derek Hine on picking up such a likely player at 62 in the draft. I can't see how Sniclair is going to be anything other than a success.

Knew the kid would come back and bite the doubters in the arse. Bloody good game by him. Very much summed up by the 100% DE. To think he's played just about 15 games, and he's able to pull things like this off it's very promising.

I just love his attack at the ball, all his smothers, which don't get counted on the stats sheet, but I'm sure he's be just about top of the list in the league on that count. Anyone have any other ideas of players who could have equaled or topped him?

Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but he's equal 6th in goalkicking for the club with 8 goals. Equal or better than the likes of Swan, Pendles, Daisy, Beams, Dawes, Wellingham.

Will be a gun for us in the future.
 
Didn't get to see the game today, but if he's going at 100% DE and kicked 3 goals then there's probably a bloody good chance that his kicking issues earlier in the year were due to nerves/game pace/composure. Fantastic to see and well done to Sinkers. :thumbsu:

The stats I like are pressure acts and 1%'era (of the stats that get often overlooked). I bet sinclair would average very high in both!

to be fair 100% DE isnt exactly hard when u only have 4 kicks...

theres no way his a 100% DE type of player

Ahhhhh love reading over this thread, seeing people having a go at a kid with less than 10 games experience, then go unsighted when he starts playing well!

Has played every game and is now a key member of our team, he has really improved on two areas that were hurting him early, his kicking and finishing. While his forward pressure has been outstanding as usual.

I've been on him from the start, those who haven't can insert apologies here.....
