I am young and i want to know if i should lift weights. I have the gear just don't if its worth it
There a couple of threads on this board that you could read on this subject w31.

Although I don't do it myself (I do body weight stuff) there is plenty of evidence out there....... lifting weights is fantastic for you.

If you're young and it's new to you, I'd suggest getting a personal trainer for a couple of sessions to teach you how to do it properly. You want to get maximum results for your effort, and avoid injuring yourself.
