Good. Take Francis who can play alongside Cripps, Bell, Menzel, Gibbs and Whiley who are tall mids/flankers.
At the moment I don't see Francis becoming a midfielder. I still feel he will become a HBF along the lines of Gibson.

Nope. They'll still finish bottom 3, and get Schache or Weitering. I'd say they should still finish last. Gold Coast has some huge inclusions in the next few weeks

That's the million dollar question. A marquee mid might add more than a Yarran or Menzel who haven't dominated through the midfield with weight of possession like Gibbs, Murphy, Kreuzer and Cripps. Parish might be the Whitfield, Kelly or O'Rourke if SOS has pick three. The great man won't have as many picks to use on another Plowman type with pick three. Have to pick the best player for Carlton like Rogers stated.
Good to see that William is getting some credit. Really rate this bloke

Yeah I've got him there to recognise that he's certainly on the radar but I'd like to see more before rocketing him up to the second round.
Also like Himmelberg, he's a good spot from you. Just couldn't justify putting him in yet given lack of a viewing sample, but I'm open to it.

It's now at the stage where I've got to place more stock in those I've seen enough of and avoid rating players who aren't making the championships sides based on speculation. I'm very open to re-include him.
Fair call...just been super impressive and right up in a number of stats areas. Knock on his kick but reckon he should be at least rookied mate

I think that's a strong possibility. And more than 85 players will be drafted you'd think so not having him there isn't an indictment on his chances. There is a lot to like.

Skippos, injury aside, do you think Adelaide would look at Ryan Burton with their first pick. I have no doubt that a key forward would be very high on our list of priorities but ideally it would be a contested marking power forward to compliment Walker and Lynch who will probably be around for the next 6 or 7 years. Do you think Burton is too similar a player to these two given that we also have Ramsey on the rookie list (who hasn't proven anything yet but hasn't put a foot wrong so far)? It looks like there might be a number of outside mids available around that pick who might be a better fit. In which case we would probably take a punt a speculative forward/ruck with a later pick. I know you don't like these picks but unless we get our hands on pick 2 I don't see another option.
These slightly undersized key forwards who rely on their head for the game to dominate rather than their size seem to be safer bets than the 196cm+ "athletes" who go at similar picks. Do you think this is the case with Burton? And how has his injury affected this?
