There is no way he will get past 12. At the very worst he will go to North at 15

I agree - with one or two changes higher up things pan out differently. Duggan being low was more a victim of strange circumstance in my phantom as opposed to what I think will happen. My next update has him higher.

Walsh had a really disappointing year, just didn't have the impact expected of him after impressing as an under-ager. I don't know if there were reasons for that (injury?), but clubs won't like that and probably leaves him with being taken in the rookie draft as a best case scenario.

Can't see it happening for Hardisty either. Appearances are certainly deceptive in the case of his fitness and athleticism, but he just seems a long way from the 'type' that AFL clubs are looking for. Not particularly convinced his skills are to the standard required. Think he'll be a guy who in years to come will generate a fair bit of interest from fans for his performances at WAFL level, but one the recruiters for whatever reason avoid (ie. Nelson, Black, Bristow etc).
Walsh was very good for the AIS team V Collingwood VFL team, very inside, but footy smart and hard, it seams a shame as he is much like Tsitis last year, gun footballer, just not athletically gifted.

Whats Tsitas doing this year out of interest?

Done a significant update. A few tweaks to the profiles, expanded the power rankings to 60 and reshuffled the order big time as well as included all the profiles I'd done throughout the year - even those not in the phantom.

I think this will be the last major update for the year with only minor tweaks based on information yet to be released to change things.

Any last minute questions or feedback I'd be happy to answer :)

Not one KPD for us

Yeah, in hindsight we'd likely target one.

Wright too good to pass up at 14 ahead of Goddard, McDonald already gone at 35 and Ramsay at 43. Nielson/McLaren I wasn't sold enough on to take at 43 and they weren't there at the next pick. Things didn't work out our way in this mock though I'm sure as new info comes out it'll change things and things will work out differently.

Otherwise I'd expect us to look at a Hartley/Beard type in the rookie.

Its a forum buddy....people are aloud to voice their opinions.
"If Weller is there at 12 we will take him ahead of Ellis" sounds much more like a fact than an opinion. It sounds like the confident statement of a person who has an inside source. Or perhaps the youthful ramblings of someone who has no idea who Richmond will take.

I think its been pretty well reported that our preference is Duggan.
It has also been reported that Weller and Ellis are on our radar as well....
In the recent phantom drafts in the media Duggan is going to GC at 8 and Weller to WCE at 11....
Soooo..that leaves us with Ellis.
All i have said that IF Weller and Ellis are available we will take Weller...

Take it as you will but it just my opinion.
What is it to you anyway?
Why does my opinion bother you so much?

The word I'm hearing is that you'll take Ellis.

No doubt though Weller would be a better selection. I hope you're right, I just doubt it.

Do you have contacts at Richmond?
Or is that just based on what you have read in the media?

I have no contact at Richmond. What I'm hearing is murmurs. I'm not definitive on you taking Ellis. It's just what I've heard and I'll place more stock in what I hear might happen than what I think should happen.

I don't understand why most phantoms have us choosing two smalls! Dodoro said in an interview he would be looking for a combination given we only have two live picks and whilst I'd be stoked with Weller at 17 surely Marchbank/Mckenzie would make more sense than Menadue (I reckon he'll be a gun and would take him at 17 if Garlett, Ahern and Weller were all gone)? Anyways good effort, many phantoms are looking similar as we get closer and closer to the draft.
